“We returned from the Maldives two weeks ago. It was our first vacation in this paradise – and definitely not the last. We chose the island to be not too far from the airport, and Dhiffushi was perfect. I arranged everything through Maruška Mojseňuková, who lives there. I can highly recommend the Dhiffushi Inn hotel – we stayed in the new building. The beach is just a minute away. It’s absolutely beautiful, with white sand and plenty of sunbeds belonging to the hotel. There’s a beach bar serving perfect drinks. This beach is on the west side of the island, so it gets sunshine all day long, and the sunsets are breathtaking. Our room was lovely, with ocean views on both sides. We had full board, and it was totally worth it – the food was excellent. Breakfasts were hearty with tuna flatbreads, and lunches and dinners always included chicken, pasta, fish, salads, and fruit like pineapple, melon, banana, and papaya. And, of course, delicious coffee. The island has about four beaches. In the evening, rays are fed on the opposite side, and even on our beach, we saw baby sharks and rays in the lagoon. As for activities, you can play ping pong, snorkel, ride a jet ski, or rent a canoe or paddleboard. The hotel organizes trips to sandbanks, shark snorkeling, turtle snorkeling, and for those interested, a full-day visit to a nearby resort. You can also go to an uninhabited island. If you don’t speak English, don’t worry – there’s a Czech girl, Maruška, who will help you with everything. I want to thank her for an amazing vacation, for taking care of us, and also thanks to the whole kind and smiling staff.”

Dinner was very tasty, with a selection of fruit in the morning and evening. I really appreciate and thank you for accommodating my food allergies! Water in glass bottles was always available at the reception. Just a minute’s walk to the beach with plenty of loungers. The beach bar offered excellent non-alcoholic drinks. Lunches were also very good – a choice from the menu. The beach has white sand and many crabs, from small to quite large. We were accompanied by baby rays and sharks. The staff were very kind and pleasant. It’s great that many things and questions could be handled with Maruška. The excursions were beautiful. We already miss it!”
